This site is maintained by Ekaterina at Lovely Journeys. This page explains what personal information we collect on lovelyjourneys.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Reach us any time at hello@lovelyjourneys.com.

• Newsletter signups. When you subscribe to the dispatch we store your email address, the page or source you signed up from, and the time you signed up and confirmed.
• Trip inquiries. When you send a message through the contact or itinerary builder forms we store the name, email, destination, dates, traveller count, and message you provide.
• Locally on your device. Your saved trips (the bookmark heart) are kept in your browser’s local storage and are never sent to our server.

• To send you the monthly dispatch after you confirm your subscription (double opt-in).
• To reply to your inquiry and plan a trip with you.
• To improve the site and understand which itineraries resonate.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising targeting on other sites.

If you are in the EU/UK, we rely on your consent for newsletter emails (given when you tick the box and confirm by email), and on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries you send us through the contact form.

Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed. Inquiries are kept for as long as needed to reply and follow up on a trip, and then archived. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

We use a small number of vendors to run the site and send email:

• Lovable Cloud — hosts the site and stores subscriber and inquiry records in a managed database with row-level access controls.
• Lovable Emails — sends the confirmation and dispatch emails from notify.lovelyjourneys.com, and handles bounces and unsubscribes.

We do not share your data with anyone else without your permission, except where required by law.

The site uses only the cookies and local storage strictly needed to make the site work (for example, remembering your saved trips or an admin session). We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking scripts.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Every dispatch includes a one-click unsubscribe link. For anything else, email hello@lovelyjourneys.com and we’ll take care of it within a reasonable time.

If this policy changes we’ll update the date at the top of the page. For material changes to how we handle newsletter subscribers, we’ll let you know by email before the change takes effect.
